How does nShield work?
Our DDoS protection system efficiently mitigates volumetric attacks by filtering high-bandwidth malicious traffic before it reaches your services. In the initial stage, our core routers analyze incoming traffic and filter out a significant portion of high-volume irregular traffic. The remaining traffic is then directed to our servers running eBPF/XDP-based proprietary software, where it undergoes comprehensive inspections to eliminate invalid and malicious requests.
Following this process, payloads and handshake procedures are meticulously examined based on the type of protected service. Specifically for game servers, our system employs specialized filtering mechanisms tailored for Minecraft, FiveM, and other gaming protocols, ensuring that only legitimate connections are allowed.
When an attack is detected, our reverse proxy infrastructure is activated to dynamically analyze game queries, effectively filtering out malicious traffic with near-total accuracy. As a result, your services continue to operate seamlessly and securely.
