What is the difference between a VDS and a VPS?
VPS (Virtual Private Server) and VDS (Virtual Dedicated Server) both describe virtual servers created through virtualization. In Turkey, "VDS" is usually used for virtual servers with full administrative access and resources defined by the plan, while "VPS" is the more general term.
At Nodesty, both names refer to the same product: a KVM-isolated virtual server with its own operating system and the vCPU, RAM and storage defined in your plan. The processor is shared with other virtual servers on the physical host, so CPU usage is subject to our Fair Use Policy. If your project needs the full processor all the time, take a look at our dedicated servers.
