What is the difference between a VDS and a VPS?
Both terms describe servers created through virtualization. "VPS" (Virtual Private Server) is the general name, while "VDS" (Virtual Dedicated Server) is mostly used in Turkey for virtual servers with full administrative access and resources set by the plan.
At Nodesty there is no difference between an EPYC VDS and an EPYC VPS: both are KVM-isolated virtual servers with their own operating system and the vCPU, RAM and storage stated in the plan. The processor is shared with other virtual servers on the same host, and CPU usage is subject to our Fair Use Policy. If you need the whole processor all the time, our dedicated servers are a better fit.
